Had a great day fishing with Gary and his son Riley from Texas. We fished the South end of Lake Okeechobee. We started our day with wild shiners worked along the outside grass edges. From there we moved inside the grass with our shiners. Both tactics worked well until 9:00 a.m. At that time we went and found deeper water and worked the rest of our shiners, still catching bass. Once we ran out of live bait we worked weed lines with 10 inch ribbon tail worms to catch our last fish of the day. We had a great time and look forward to getting back out there.
Til next time
